There was a time when Vivian Richards and Diego Maradona posed on the walls of every sports lover’s room. Collection of sports posters was one of the biggest hobby amongst teenagers and they also enjoyed sharing them with their mates. I remember having a huge collection of sports posters, which I proudly displayed to my friends and also exchanged them with other rare ones. I had posters that were in different sizes right from pocket size poster cards to big size ones that were rolled and kept carefully.

But with time, I noticed the diminishing fame of sports posters, they became rarer in the market and the ones that were there had either gone outdated or were worn out. Wonder what brought about the doom of these sports posters. And then one day while I was still in college a friend gave me a link to an online poster site where I could download posters easily. And was so delighted to see a collection of old and new sports stars in there. I amusement knew no end, my childhood craze for sports posters re-kindled and things looked so great all of a sudden.

The difference this time was that, all my sports posters were collected online and stored in a dedicated poster on my personal computer which I check almost every day and make sure that my collection is worthy of the praise.
